Amongst the ilex forests at the foot of the slopes, the Gigüela river flows through this jewel of a town in La Mancha, Toledo Province, once founded by the Romans, and now nourishing a millennial culture that goes back over 2.000 years.

Today, VILLANUEVA DE ALCARDETE continues to respect its age-old customs, where winegrowers tend their vineyards with care, increasing their production and converting the fruits of the heart into wines of great prestige and renown
